The headline that you hear about is the main title of any given article that describes the main context of the news that will come next in the programme. It’s essentially a short description of what is going on in the world. It’s short mainly for the use of grabbing listeners all around, so they sum up all of their stories to see if you will want to listen to any of them. The headline is the introduction to the top story that you want to prioritise. These are usually merged with audio clips and brief information depending on the audience you want to attract, you should put stories in order of the target audience you want to attract. you want to grab their attention and you want them to continue to listen. for example:

A news program is usually committed to current and happening events. Often using interesting interviews and opinionated commentary as it‘s centre of attention.
This programme is often only about an hour long. However, it is repeated across the day for those who were not watching before.
