Target audience?
I have taken a different approach to researching my target audience, As halsey doesn't have a music video for her song yet, I have decided to research the dart get audience of her song, rather than that of a particular music video audience, From my sources below you can see that Halsey is a user of twitter, And uses this social media platform to communicate to her fans, who are of a teen-age. Halsey's fan base hang out on twitter because it's the easiest platform for them to communicate to one another. a few of the pictures below show Halsey's youtube activity, her subscriber count, how often people are listening to gasoline, and how often the audience is interacting with the channel. from what I can see, Halsey's audience is that of a Teenage female audience, She is a young adult,and is a female and will most likely attract girls of a younger or similar age, Young people are in constant use of social media, and this is a pivotal use of modern ethnology in order to keep up with her fans and for them to keep up with her. Halsey's target audience centers mainly around the female teen market. This is due to her laid back attitude towards her fans - they are treated as friends through the use of social media. Furthermore due to the prominent twitter following Halsey has (55k at the time), she is able to distribute her music to a wide audience for free, with the simple click of a button.

Influences
I will be using this video as inspiration to mine, Created, directed, filmed and edited by Bella bull for Her very own Media college project much like mine, I liked the tone they have used in theirs and incorporating the use of fire and a strong female lead character. this video has lead me to use the song as the song for my final major project, and will be influenced by the style and use of song and lyrics for my video.
